My Ex, Illness, and Aunt

I’m totally lost and confused nowadays. I was talking to my Ex yesterday, and I sort of every time I talk to her, end up not feeling well. I end up lost between feelings of grief and joy. Like should I be happy that I’m talking to her again, or should I feel bad that we’re no longer like before.

I hate those moments of illness, where you don’t know what’s right and what’s wrong, or what’s good and what’s bad for you. I don’t know if you guys know this, but I’m really thankful to have you in my life, to know every single one of you. Some of you enlighten me, others give me hope and encouragement. But more importantly, I see all of you as a blessing. It’s so rarely when you find a hate free zone where you can express your feelings freely, with no worries whatsoever.

My Aunt has done the operation successfully, thank God. She is currently recovering and we’re anticipating the rise of her platelets count hopefully. The amount of love and support that I’ve received over my last post about my Aunt is also overwhelming. I feel like I wanna share it with everyone I know. One person sent me an email shining with positive energy, informing me that a special visit to church was made for the sake of my Aunt’s recovery. No words can describe how I felt at that moment. This is how the world should react with each other. I really wish the world was a bigger version of the WordPress community. In other words, I really wish we had a meeting every once in a while, share the love, and enjoy the genuine beauty of human kind.

Thank you, I definitely feel better now <3

  1. I am glad your aunt is responding and recovering. As for the ex; there is a very good reason (maybe many) why the title ex applies. I have two and consider myself fortunate that I can avoid them. As for the hate free zone; you also contribute heart and ear to the environment. Glad you feel better. So do I.

    • Thank you, John. You are a valuable member to this community. I agree with you about the title ex, avoiding them is definitely a win. Thanks you for your lovely thoughts on the subject.

  2. Happy to hear that your aunt is doing better. Sorry about the confusion you’re going through. Sometimes people don’t fit into the role that we want them to be in. It’s sad, but the benefit is that the person is still part of our life. It’d hurt more if they were gone forever.

  3. Mohamed I am glad your aunt is doing well – I hope her recovery continues.

I couldn’t agree more about the world. If we would all engage with individuals one on one, I think there would be less hate – we don’t have to agree on everything, but we do have to respect and treat each other with dignity. I used to laugh when I was a little girl and I would ask my mom what she wanted for a gift – she would respond with “World Peace.” I now find myself saying the exact same thing – although I would be happy for small pockets of peace to start with. So, you (Mohamed) and me (Pamela) will start our own peace pocket – and then we can add in others one by one and then it can spread.

    Peace to you, my friend.

    • Aww yess I couldn’t agree more, I love this peace pocket idea, and I would love for it to expand covering every single person on Earth!
Peace to you, my dear friend. May we live to see the anticipated “World Peace” :)

  4. I’m happy to hear your Aunt is doing better. That’s very happy news. I feel the same way about wp. I always feel welcomed here and apart of a community. :) stay well my friend.

  5. So good to hear about your aunt Mohamed! I think this community really is so amazing and am also glad that I have been fortunate enough to be a part of it. Thanks for all that you do! :)

    • You gotta be kidding! Thanks to you my friend for all what you do :)
I agree, it’s one heck of an adorable community :) Thank you my friend.

  6. I wish your aunt a speedy recovery – with a loving nephew like you to support her – well, she will be up and dancing in no time:) i agree about the WP community. I love being a part of such a diverse group of people and I wish we could get a big party organized! How cool would that be? But, being where we all are is okay – what is important is that we are here – our presence is inspiring, supporting, loving, non-judgemental – just wonderful! Kimberly xx

    • Aww Thank you so much Kim for the lovely words and thoughts :) I’ve been thinking about meeting you all in real life allot, really. But I agree with you, there’s nothing wrong with how we are now, here. Totally! :)

  9. Ex’s are always complicated. I hope you are feeling better today about the situation with her. I am glad to hear that your Aunt is doing well. Will continue to keep her in my thoughts/prayers for as safe and speedy recovery. I too feel blessed to have a “safe” place where I can be surrounded by friends here on WP. I’m thankful that you are part of my WP family, Mohamed. Your encouragement is always such a blessing to me!

  10. Think of our interactions on here as little meetings, you dont need to be there physically to show support and encouragement when it comes to the blogging community :) I’m glad to be a part of yours and great news about your aunt :) xB

    • Yes, I do exactly think of it here as little meetings having great value actually. The support is amazing, Beth. I’m more glad that you are part of mine :) Thank you, my friend <3
