Its a pity actually that some people still act as if Morsi still has Revolutionary Legitimacy after all what have happened. I see that his legitimacy has no value from the moment he chose to honor the SCAF with the so called “Collar of the Nile”. The SCAF was in fact responsible for serious catastrophic events, but the MB did not think of anything but what could possibly bring them closer to Power, by any means necessary. Even if that could mean sacrificing the Egyptians’ dignity and rights.
Today on the 2nd memorial of the 18 days the Egyptians witnessed, the death toll still rises, casualties continue to fall in hundreds, and the exact same arguments that we used to hear from the Mubarak Regime are heard from the current one. Except that the MB think they have a motive to say whatever they want because Morsi is considered an elected president. Well even elected presidents do not have immunity from falling if they do not respect their people.
Remember the famous Hadith of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ that says: Every one of you is a shepherd and every one of you is responsible for his flock. A ruler is shepherd over his people and he is accountable for their welfare. (Bukhari, Muslim.)
May Allah be with us all..
